About Marianna

Marianna is deeply passionate about coaching and mentoring talented young students. With experiences in the admissions office at Stanford, Teach for America, and as a corporate attorney, she brings a unique perspective to helping students develop and showcase their strengths.

Over the course of her academic and professional career, Marianna has earned multiple awards and prestigious opportunities. She served as an MLK Scholar at the US Department of Education, where she researched issues related to school accountability and school choice. At Stanford, she received the Arturo Islas Jr. Prize and the Arnaud B. Leavelle Memorial Prize for her outstanding academic achievements. While pursuing her M.A. in Education Policy Analysis at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, she served as a Teaching Assistant for the Stanford Hope House Scholars Program—an experience that sparked her enduring passion for student mentorship.

Her most recent role as an Admissions Reader for Stanford University provided her with firsthand insights into the evaluation of applicants across diverse domestic and international regions. This experience sharpened her ability to identify unique qualities in competitive applicant pools and to connect student interests with university resources.

Marianna’s career has also spanned the nonprofit sector, where she focused on talent development, resource management, and admissions processes. At Teach for America, her leadership helped raise over $22 million, and she played a key role in admissions by reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and improving recruitment yield.

Marianna also credits her legal training for much of her professional success. Graduated from Harvard Law School, she has dedicated her career to connecting individuals with opportunities that can positively impact their life trajectories, while investing time and resources in projects that strengthen her community.
