About Rebecca

Rebecca is a former Admissions Officer who has worked for Columbia University and Sarah Lawrence College. She began her career at her alma mater, Sarah Lawrence, as an Admissions Counselor, where she was responsible for the Midwest and Canada. During her time at Sarah Lawrence, she interviewed students, met with families, and read and reviewed applications, in addition to managing social media and Admitted Students Day.

After Sarah Lawrence, Rebecca worked in graduate admissions for Columbia University, Teachers College, where she worked with the Human Development and Biobehavioral Sciences students and faculty. She met with students and families during on campus prospective student events and worked closely with faculty to determine the next class of masters and doctoral students.

Rebecca has worked closely with students who were admitted to Ivy League institutions, such as Columbia University and Harvard University, as well as top tier schools like the University of Chicago and Northwestern University. With her robust background in writing and marketing, she thoroughly enjoys helping students craft unique and memorable personal essays.

She holds a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Marist College and a Bachelors of Liberal Arts (Writing and Women's Studies) from Sarah Lawrence College. Additionally, she studied abroad at the University of Oxford, where she holds alumni status.
