About Matt

Matt Clemons is a Former Admissions Officer based in North Carolina. With a vast professional history in higher education, Matt has been involved in every part of the admissions process. He is specially qualified to guide students through the competitive landscape of college applications—knowing firsthand what admissions officers at schools like Duke University, Harvard, and Columbia look for when selecting their students.

Over the course of his career, Matt has worked in both undergraduate and graduate institutions in admissions and financial aid. As an expert in the admissions process, Matt is keenly aware of what the top universities are looking for in their students and which students are selected for scholarships. He has reviewed thousands of applications from countries all over the globe and awarded and disbursed millions of dollars in financial assistance. Over the course of his career, Matt has admitted students into schools such as Duke University, Harvard, Columbia, Manhattan School of Music, Cogswell University, and George Fox University.

Matt has been dedicated to education and helping students since the onset of his career. He taught English abroad in South Korea for two years before returning to the United States to work in enrollment management. Now, he strives to help students towards their pathways of success in higher education by giving them the tools and knowledge they need to excel in the top Ivy League schools.
