About Dr. Valer

Dr. Valer is a distinguished expert in finance, economics, and artificial intelligence, with extensive experience in both academia and the financial sector. He currently serves as a Visiting Academic at the University of Oxford and a Senior Research Fellow at PAD – Universidad de Piura. Previously, he held executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer at COFIDE and Banco Santander Peru, and now advises on economic strategy as the Chief Economic Adviser at Aurum Capital.

Dr. Valer holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, a PhD in ESG Economics from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, and an MSc in Global Central Banking & Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick. He has also been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University and earned a Certificate in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School. His expertise spans financial regulation, sustainable finance, and AI applications in economics and investment strategies.
